A game for some food challenges
This video demonstrates the use of simple materials (spoons, forks, plastic cup, food, and a rubber band) and a circuit board to create a Taste Switch. There are 2 foods that the child enjoys and a small amount of that they don't like. All foods are complementary to each other. Each fork is connected to a different arrow key and the child is holding the "ground" contact. Each time the child touches food with their tongue an arrow key is triggered to play the game. This game could be adjusted to meet other goals by changing the food or distance of the food could address tongue mobility or oral-motor goals.
